Amazing restaurant. Reservations required. They rely a little too heavily on char for flavour (could have done without charcoal dusting on the butter) and the vegetables were too heavily dressed, but small complaints. Everything was fresh, balanced. We loved the mushrooms, squash, and wood-roasted greens. Roasted potatoes were disappointing. We missed out on the anchovy bread but jealously saw other tables with it - we'll be back for it. Just enough on the menu for a full (if light) meal if you're vegetarian. Service was good, though at peak lunchtime a bit inattentive.

Just payed 82£ for lunch for 1 person, and left hungry ! Portions are too small and food is overpriced. Too much oil in food…

LOVED the energy. LOVED the food - favorites being the Pigeon and the Bread with Burnt Onion butter. Only things I would change is that our server seemed a bit new and overwhelmed and therefore a bit less attentive than I would have expected. We also would have more to drink if his attentiveness was higher. But I still give you very high ratings. Your Michelin star is well-deserved on the taste, imagination and presenatation of the food alone. I will come back on my next trip to London, and will recommend to others (already have in fact!)

Excellent meal all round. Wonderful space. Open kitchen with the wood burning oven and coal char grill so you can watch and smell the meals being cooked. The servers were very friendly and helpful. We didn't want to rush lunch so had each dish one at a time rather than arrive when they were ready, which made for a more relaxed and pleasurable dining experience for us. Interesting mix of business groups, couples, Spanish families looking for authentic home food, and solo eaters treating themselves Each item was excellent. But the cheese cake was stand out. It's quite closely spaces as mentioned in their confirmation email, but it was absolutely fine for us. A truly wonderful meal. And fairly priced for the quality. A choice of 5 desert wines by the glass was a bonus.

Food was incredible. Loved every dish but particularly the bread & burnt onion butter, wild mushrooms, squash, monkfish and almond & thyme cake! Great ambience as well. Overall a wonderful experience!

The food was really delicious but it’s a pity we didn’t even get to enjoy it. Came here for a special dinner date that we planned a month in advance but the place was squeezed to the brim, we felt like the whole date included the American guy next to us who was speaking at 3x the usual volume which meant we couldn’t even get a word across the table. The rest of the restaurant was packed too and so so noisy. Terrible ambience. Service was slow and the waitstaff didn’t show any pride in the food nor establishment, there was no explanation or storytelling in the menu which is crazy for somewhere rated 1 star. It was also hard getting their attention which maybe isn’t their fault obviously because they’re both understaffed and over-patronised. It gave me the feeling that they’re simply trying to maximise profits and care nothing about the customer’s experience. Price was expected but portions were small. Talented chefs but poor experience overall. Won’t be coming back even if I craved the duck & bread just because of the migraine i got from being in the restaurant. Also shocked because I’ve been to other 1 Michelin stars in Asia and they work extremely hard just to put together an amazing experience to retain that accomplishment. Maybe Michelin’s standards for European/White countries are lax as hell or Brat doesn’t care to retain it for the next year, who knows!

Our experience at Brat was incredibly disappointing. Despite an 8:30 reservation, we waited over an hour before receiving our first course. Other tables that sat after us were already on their second course, and when we asked the waiter, he explained that the ticket machine had jammed, but our order would be up soon. When we received our first course - it was mostly empty shells. Frustrated and starving, we left after an hour ~15 min with no communication from the manager or waiter. This was one week ago - they said they would email us and never did.

Great restaurant. We came here based on the recommendation of our daughter. My John Dory fish was delicious. Great wine selection too.

Booked in advance but still had to wait for about half an hour. The food was good but the service was too slow. However, the restaurant gave two dishes and two glasses of white wine as a gift. The service was very good. This restaurant is suitable for people who have plenty of time because the service is really slow. But it was delicious

Lovely ambiance and service, and high quality ingredients but the food was very bland and just tasted of oil or brown butter. The basque cheesecake and wine was very good.

I had a great time at BRAT! the food was good. We asked the sommelier for some wine advice and our host was also really helpful! We had the squid rice, ansjovis bread (which was deliciously garlicy) and the squash was for sure our favorite of the night! We will definitely come back!

Juste parfait! Très belle adresse qui mérite son étoile Michelin avec des prix accessible pour cette catégorie de restaurant surtout à Londres.
